ICAS7 2015
Thank you for a successful colloquium
ICAS7 2015 has successfully been brought to a close. Many thanks to all participants for their interesting talks and posters. We would also like to thank the whole organizing committee for their hard work which made the colloquium possible.
We hope that everyone enjoyed their time in Finland. You can find pictures of the colloquium in the Natural History Museum’s blog (captions are also written in English). The colloquium raised a lot of interest in the Finnish media and many national newspapers wrote articles about it. A video made by Yle Kioski (part of the Finnish Broadcasting Company) which also includes a short interview of John Koprowski can be viewed here.

Announcement
We invite all researchers of tree and flying squirrels to participate in the 7th International Colloquium on Arboreal Squirrels in Helsinki, Finland, in June 1–5, 2015.
The colloquium will take place at the Finnish Museum of Natural History, LUOMUS at the University of Helsinki.
Presentations on various aspects of ecology, behaviour, systematics, genetics and conservation of squirrels are warmly welcome.
Research on arboreal squirrels as model animals can solve general questions, not only in squirrel biology, but also for many broader subdisciplines of the biological sciences. Researchers from all over the world are welcome to present their newest results, meet and discuss with colleagues and build collaborative relationships.
Finnish Museum of Natural History LUOMUS
Luomus is a research institute at the University of Helsinki. Its activities include research, education, and conservation, as well as maintenance and display of national collections pertaining to the natural sciences. The extensive collections consist of animals, plants, fungi, rocks and fossils. Luomus offers science for visitors in four fascinating public attractions: the Natural History Museum, the botanic gardens at Kaisaniemi and Kumpula, and the Mineral Cabinet.
